Viva Social — Data Retention Policy
Effective: 2026-08-15
Purpose
This policy explains how long Technology Advantages LLC retains user data and how we securely delete it. It expands on section 6 of our Privacy Policy (https://vivasocial.online/privacy); where a period appears in both documents, the two say the same thing.
Retention periods
Account information. Retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of account closure. Deleting your account starts a 30-day grace period during which signing back in cancels the deletion; when the grace period ends, the account and its contents are purged outright.
Messages and interactions. Retained while your account is open, and deleted when the purge completes at the end of the 30-day grace period. Safety records — reports, blocks, and enforcement decisions — are kept for up to 12 months for moderation and fraud prevention, because a record that disappears with the account being reported would defeat its purpose.
Profile content. Retained until deleted by the user or the account is closed. Photos are removed from storage as part of the purge.
Reservation data. Retained for 90 days for operational and support purposes.
Analytics data. Telemetry is retained for 12 months on a rolling basis, after which it is kept only in aggregated, non-identifiable form for up to 24 months. Audit logs are retained for 24 months, which is a legal and safety requirement.
Backups. Retained for 30 days, then overwritten on the normal backup cycle.
Underage block records. A phone number reported as belonging to a minor is blocked for 90 days. The record stores only a salted one-way hash of the number plus the reported age — no raw personal data.
Deletion requests
Users may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting support@technologyadvantagesllc.com, or by using Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
